Last updated: 24 April 2026 · UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018 compliant
1 · Who we are
SwiftVolt ("we", "our", "us") is a mobile emergency electrical service operating across Greater London. You can reach us on 07399 181060 or info@swiftvolt.co.uk. We are the data controller of any personal data you provide through this website.
2 · What data we collect
Only the data you give us directly through the website:
- Callback request form: your name, phone number, postcode, the service you need, and any optional notes you add.
- Referral form: your name and phone number, and the name and mobile number of the friend you're referring.
- Email enquiries: anything you send to
info@swiftvolt.co.uk.
We do not collect: credit-card details (we take payment offline), date of birth, National Insurance numbers, or any other sensitive personal data.
3 · What we do with it
- Contact you back about the service you requested.
- Schedule and carry out the electrical work, which may involve visiting the address/postcode you provided.
- Issue certificates and invoices — certain certifications (e.g. EICR) are also logged with the NICEIC national portal as required by regulation.
- Apply referral credits to the right invoice when a friend you referred books with us.
We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not use it for marketing beyond a follow-up call about the job you asked about.
4 · Lawful basis
Under UK GDPR our lawful bases for processing are:
- Consent — when you fill in a form on this site, you're explicitly asking us to contact you.
- Contract — once we agree to do a job, we need your data to perform that contract.
- Legal obligation — we must log certain electrical certifications with regulators (NICEIC, Part P Building Control).
5 · How long we keep it
- Callback enquiries that don't become jobs: 90 days, then deleted.
- Completed-job records (invoices, certificates): 6 years, required by UK tax law (HMRC) and building regulations.
- Referral tracking: 12 months after the referred job completes.
6 · Third parties we use
- Google Workspace — hosts the
info@swiftvolt.co.ukinbox. Their privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy - WhatsApp (Meta) — when you submit the callback form, your browser may open WhatsApp to send your message directly to our number. This is your messaging app, governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy.
- Formsubmit.co — relays a copy of form submissions to our inbox. Their privacy policy: formsubmit.co/privacy
- Cloudflare — DNS and security for this website.
- NICEIC — receives statutory certification data for EICRs and notifiable electrical works, as required by UK regulation.
7 · Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (a "subject access request").
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
- Ask us to delete your data (subject to our legal retention duties above).
- Ask us to stop processing your data.
